Oral Roberts at Oklahoma State

STILLWATER, Okla. (Interstat) — The Oklahoma State Cowboys will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball season at home against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The game at Gallagher-Iba Arena will be the first official action for both teams since their exits in the 2025 postseason. Oral Roberts finished its previous campaign with a 73-56 loss to Missouri-Kansas City on March 5. Oklahoma State’s last outing was a 61-59 home defeat to North Texas on March 25.

The matchup offers a contrast in early-season scheduling philosophies. For the Golden Eagles, this road game is the first of a challenging five-game stretch that includes a trip to in-state power Oklahoma on Nov. 20.

The Cowboys, meanwhile, will use this contest as a tune-up before a significant early test against Texas A&M at home on Nov. 9. Oklahoma State’s non-conference slate also features a neutral-site game against Northwestern in Chicago and a road contest at Grand Canyon.

Both teams will look to establish a new identity with fresh starts after concluding their 2024-25 seasons with losses. The Cowboys will have the home-court advantage as they seek to begin the new campaign on a winning note.
