AUSTIN, Texas (Interstat) — The Texas Longhorns look to continue their strong start at home when they host the Rider Broncs in a nonconference men’s basketball game Tuesday at the Frank Erwin Center.

Texas (3-1) is undefeated in three games in Austin this season, most recently defeating Missouri-Kansas City 71-55 on Saturday. Dailyn Swain led the Longhorns with 13 points and seven rebounds, while Lassina Traore recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Rider (1-2) arrives in Austin fresh off its first win of the season, an 86-54 rout of Eastern on Saturday. Flash Burton scored 21 points to pace the Broncs in that victory. Prior to that, Rider dropped its first two games on the road at Rutgers and Virginia by an average of 31 points.

The game serves as a final tune-up for both teams before challenging stretches. Texas will travel to Hawaii to face Arizona State in the Maui Invitational next Monday. Rider continues its difficult road swing with a game at Houston on Thursday.
