PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — A pair of undefeated city rivals will meet Tuesday night when the La Salle Explorers visit the Temple Owls at the Liacouras Center.

La Salle (2-0) enters the contest following a 73-60 home victory over Monmouth on Saturday. Guard Jaeden Marshall led the way with 26 points, while fellow guard Ashton Walker dished out nine assists. The Explorers opened their season with an 87-59 win over Coppin State.

Temple (1-0) began its season with an 83-65 win against Delaware State last Wednesday. Guard Aiden Tobiason scored a team-high 23 points in the opener, and Gavin Griffiths added 16 points and five rebounds.

The game is part of a challenging non-conference slate for both Philadelphia schools. Following this matchup, La Salle will travel to face Penn State on Saturday, while Temple will host Boston College the same day.
