PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — In a game defined by a dominant second-half surge, Saint Joseph’s pulled away from city rival La Salle for an 88-76 victory in an Atlantic 10 Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Hagan Arena. A crowd of 2,504 watched the Hawks improve to 21-10 overall, while the Explorers fell to 9-22. The contest was a tight, back-and-forth affair for the first 25 minutes.
