WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Interstat) — The Purdue Boilermakers used a dominant second-half performance to pull away from the Oakland Golden Grizzlies for an 87-77 win in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Friday night at Mackey Arena. The game was tied 35-35 at halftime before the Boilermakers erupted for 52 points after the break. Purdue improved to 2-0 while Oakland fell to 0-2. A crowd of 14,876 watched as Purdue capitalized on turnovers, scoring 18 points off Oakland miscues.
