Milwaukee at Akron
AKRON, Ohio (Interstat) — The Akron Zips, looking to rebound from a narrow home loss, will host the Milwaukee Panthers in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Saturday at James A. Rhodes Arena.
Akron (5-2) enters the contest after a 97-94 defeat to Yale on Monday. The Zips’ offense was potent in the loss, led by Tavari Johnson’s 35 points and eight assists. Prior to that, Akron had won five of its first six games, including dominant home victories over Princeton and Iona.
Milwaukee (3-4) is coming off a record-setting 125-70 rout of Dominican on Tuesday. Isaiah Dorceus, Seth Hubbard and Danilo Jovanovich were the top performers in that win. The Panthers’ season, however, has been marked by inconsistency, with their other victories coming against Hampton and Arkansas-Little Rock. They have struggled on the road, falling to power conference foes Indiana and Texas Tech.
The game pits Akron’s high-scoring attack against a Milwaukee team searching for its first true road win. The Zips will be heavily favored on their home court, where they are 4-1 this season.
Tipoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.
