BLACKSBURG, Va. (Interstat) — The undefeated Virginia Tech Hokies (3-0) will host the Charlotte 49ers (2-1) in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at Cassell Coliseum.

Virginia Tech is coming off a dominant 94-59 victory over Saint Joseph’s on Wednesday. Amani Hansberry led the Hokies with 19 points, while Neoklis Avdalas added 14 points and seven assists. Their season also includes a 107-101 overtime win against Providence.

Charlotte looks to rebound after its first loss of the season, a 62-55 defeat at home to Davidson on Tuesday. Despite the loss, Anton Bonke recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds for the 49ers. Charlotte opened its season with wins over Indiana State and Tennessee Tech.

The game will be the final home contest for the Hokies before a two-game trip to The Bahamas. Charlotte continues its road schedule with a visit to Appalachian State on Nov. 21.
