Purdue at Alabama
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Interstat) — Two early-season, undefeated powers will clash Thursday when the Purdue Boilermakers visit the Alabama Crimson Tide in a marquee non-conference men’s basketball matchup.
The game, scheduled for Nov. 13, 2025, at Coleman Coliseum, features a pair of 2-0 teams with potent offenses. Purdue is coming off an 87-77 home victory over Oakland on Nov. 7, led by 20 points and nine assists from guard Braden Smith and a near double-double of 14 points and nine rebounds from center Oscar Cluff.
Alabama arrives with even greater momentum after a 103-96 road win against Saint John’s on Nov. 8. The Crimson Tide’s backcourt was explosive, with Labaron Philon scoring 25 points and Aden Holloway adding 21 points and four assists. Forward Taylor Bol Bowen nearly posted a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.
The contest pits Purdue’s traditionally disciplined, inside-out attack against Alabama’s fast-paced, high-scoring system. It serves as a major early test for both programs before each embarks on a challenging stretch of their schedules.
Purdue’s next game is at home against Akron on Nov. 16. Alabama will travel to face Illinois in Chicago on Nov. 19.
