SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — The LG Twins erupted for four home runs in the first inning and cruised to a 9-3 victory over the Doosan Bears on Sunday afternoon at Jamsil Stadium.

Moon Jeong-bin hit two homers, including a two-run shot in the fifth, and finished with three RBIs. Austin Dean, Park Dong-won and Song Chan-eui also went deep in the opening frame as LG took a 4-0 lead. The Twins added two runs in the sixth on a single by Park Hae-min and a fielder’s choice by Dean.

Doosan grabbed a 3-0 lead in the top of the first on an error that allowed three runs to score, but the Bears managed 13 hits and were held scoreless thereafter. LG starter Wells combined with four relievers to limit Doosan after the first inning.

The game was completed in eight innings. The Bears fell to 34-36-2, while LG improved to 45-26-2. The attendance was 23,750. The victory completed a three-game series sweep for LG.
