Stockton vs. San Diego
Preview: Stockton Kings at San Diego Clippers
SAN DIEGO (Interstat) — The surging Stockton Kings visit the San Diego Clippers in a Western Conference G League matchup on Friday at Frontwave Arena.
Stockton (31-16) enters with the superior record, having won eight of its last 10 games. The Kings are coming off a dramatic 115-114 road victory over South Bay on Tuesday, secured by a last-second basket. Jaylin Williams, a player to watch for Stockton, posted 18 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in that win. The center is averaging a double-double over his last 10 contests, including a 24-point performance on March 17.
San Diego (26-22) has been strong at home lately, winning its last three at Frontwave Arena by an average of 18.3 points. In its most recent outing, a 131-115 win over Valley on March 21, forward Norchad Omier led the way with 23 points and eight rebounds. Omier, the key player to watch for the Clippers, is averaging 21.0 points and 12.3 rebounds over his last three games, highlighted by a 19-point, 22-rebound effort on March 16.
The season series is tied 1-1 from a pair of games in Stockton in November. The Kings won the most recent meeting 117-108 on Nov. 9, 2025, after the Clippers took the opener 102-97 on Nov. 8.
Friday’s game features a contrast in styles. Stockton boasts one of the league’s top offenses, consistently scoring above 115 points, while San Diego will look to leverage its recent home-court dominance and the interior presence of Omier to slow the Kings’ momentum.
The teams will meet again at the same venue on Saturday.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. PDT.
