SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (Interstat) — The Oklahoma City Blue defeated the Memphis Hustle 125-115 in a G League game Sunday at DeSoto Civic Center, avenging a loss from the previous night.

Oklahoma City built a commanding early lead with 37 points in each of the first two quarters and never trailed. Memphis cut the deficit to single digits multiple times in the fourth quarter but could not complete the comeback.

The victory moved both teams to identical 16-30 records on the season. Nikola Topic and Zhaire Smith facilitated the Blue’s offense throughout, while Memphis was led by Paul Watson and Colby Jones.

The teams combined for 240 points in a fast-paced contest that exceeded the pregame projection. Oklahoma City visits Iowa next on Thursday, while Memphis travels to face Rio Grande Valley.
