Cleveland Charge Outlast Memphis Hustle in High-Scoring G League Affair

CLEVELAND (Interstat) — The Cleveland Charge used a consistent offensive attack to defeat the Memphis Hustle 131-117 in a G League game Friday night at Wolstein Center.

The Charge built a 72-65 halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half, never trailing after the opening minutes. Cleveland improved to 17-10 while Memphis fell to 9-19.

Norchad Omier led the Charge with a dominant interior performance. Memphis was paced by Tyler Burton and Charlie Brown, who combined for frequent scoring bursts but could not close the deficit. The teams traded baskets in a fast-paced first quarter that ended tied at 36, but Cleveland’s 36-point second period created a cushion it would not relinquish.
