Boom Outlast Squadron in High-Scoring G League Affair

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Interstat) — The Noblesville Boom defeated the Birmingham Squadron 124-111 in a G League game Friday at Arena at Innovation Mile.

Noblesville built a commanding early lead, outscoring Birmingham 67-46 by halftime. The Boom shot efficiently from the start, led by Gabe McGlothan’s versatile scoring inside and out. Birmingham mounted a 36-point third-quarter rally but could not close the deficit.

McGlothan anchored Noblesville with a series of key baskets, including a late three-pointer and tip-in. Quenton Jackson and Ethan Thompson provided consistent backcourt production. For Birmingham, Josh Oduro and Keion Brooks led the offensive effort.

The Boom improved to 14-15. The Squadron fell to 10-23. The teams meet again here Sunday.
