South Bay Outlasts College Park in High-Scoring G League Affair

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (Interstat) — The South Bay Lakers used a dominant second quarter to pull away from the College Park Skyhawks and secure a 121-107 victory in a G League game Tuesday night at the UCLA Health Training Center.

College Park started strong, leading 35-24 after the first quarter behind an early burst from RayJ Dennis. The game turned decisively in the second period as South Bay outscored the Skyhawks 36-33 to take a 60-68 halftime lead, a margin they would not relinquish. The Lakers extended their advantage with a 27-15 third quarter.

South Bay’s balanced attack and control after the opening period proved too much for College Park, which saw its record fall to 8-20. The Lakers improved to 14-13.
