Motor City Cruise Races Past Delaware Blue Coats in High-Scoring G League Affair
WILMINGTON, Del. (Interstat) — The Motor City Cruise built a substantial lead and withstood a late rally to defeat the Delaware Blue Coats 133-119 in a G League game Saturday at 76ers Fieldhouse.
The Cruise established control early, leading 63-52 at halftime after a 38-point third quarter pushed their advantage to 29 points. The Blue Coats mounted a frantic fourth-quarter rally, scoring 41 points, but the early deficit proved too large to overcome.
Wendell Moore led a balanced Motor City attack. O’Mar Stanley was also a key contributor for the Cruise. Delaware was led by Kennedy Chandler and Johni Broome.
Motor City improved to 13-15. Delaware fell to 10-18.
