SAN DIEGO (Interstat) — The Oklahoma City Blue held off a late rally to defeat the San Diego Clippers 113-109 in a G League contest Friday night at Frontwave Arena. The Blue built a 61-49 halftime lead behind a strong first half and withstood a 33-point fourth quarter from the Clippers to secure the road victory.

Bryce Thompson led Oklahoma City with a versatile scoring effort. San Diego’s Yanic Konan Niederhauser provided an interior presence for the Clippers in the loss. The result improved the Blue’s record to 7-20, while the Clippers moved to an even 14-14. The teams are scheduled for a rematch in San Diego on Saturday.
