Knicks Surge Early, Hold Off Bulls for Rare Home Win

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Westchester Knicks used a dominant first quarter to build a large early advantage and held off the Windy City Bulls for a 114-104 G League victory Friday night at Westchester County Center.

Westchester erupted for 44 points in the opening period, establishing a 19-point lead that Windy City spent the rest of the game trying to overcome. The Bulls steadily chipped away but never closed the gap to fewer than five points.

Pacome Dadiet led a balanced Westchester attack. Kevin McCullar and Bryson Warren provided key support for the Knicks, who improved to 6-21. Windy City, which fell to 12-13, was led by Wooga Poplar. The Bulls’ comeback effort fell short despite outscoring Westchester in the second half.

The result defied a national statistical projection that had favored Windy City by 23 points.
