Memphis vs. Rip City
PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — The Rip City Remix will look to complete a quick two-game home sweep of the Memphis Hustle when the G League teams meet again Monday at the Chiles Center.
The Remix (14-11) edged the Hustle 93-88 on Sunday, extending Memphis’s losing streak to seven games. The Hustle (8-15) have not won since a 117-116 victory over Valley on Dec. 27, 2025.
Monday’s contest pits two of the league’s standout performers against each other. Rip City is led by center Yang Hansen, who is coming off a dominant 14-point, 17-rebound performance in a 127-111 win over Oklahoma City on Friday. In his last two games, Hansen has averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Memphis will rely on forward Tyler Burton, who has been a consistent bright spot during the skid. Burton is averaging 19.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists over his last seven games. He scored a team-high 26 points in Wednesday’s 132-123 loss to Texas.
The Hustle’s recent struggles have been defined by defensive lapses, allowing an average of 125.7 points during their seven-game slide. The Remix, winners of three of their last four, have averaged 123.3 points over that stretch.
Following Monday’s game, Memphis begins a four-game road trip Wednesday at Salt Lake City. Rip City opens a two-game series at Rio Grande Valley on Thursday.
