Capital City Holds Off Texas Rally for G League Road Victory
FRISCO, Texas (Interstat) — The Capital City Go-Go built a large early lead and withstood multiple charges to defeat the Texas Legends 113-102 in a G League game Monday at Dr Pepper Arena.
Capital City opened a 14-point lead after the first quarter and maintained a double-digit advantage for much of the night. Texas used a strong second quarter to close the gap and stayed within striking distance, but the Go-Go consistently answered each rally. A final push by the Legends in the fourth quarter cut the deficit to single digits before Capital City secured the win.
The victory improved Capital City’s record to 13-12, while Texas fell to 12-14.
