Westchester Knicks Upset Wisconsin Herd Behind Balanced Scoring
OSHKOSH, Wis. (Interstat) — The Westchester Knicks earned a rare road victory Saturday, defeating the Wisconsin Herd 104-94 in a G League contest at Oshkosh Arena.
Westchester built a lead with consistent scoring, posting 25 points in each of the first two quarters and never trailing after the opening minutes. The Knicks, who improved to 5-20, held Wisconsin to 18 points in the second period to take control.
Bryson Warren and Dink Pate led a balanced Westchester attack. The Herd, which fell to 9-17, was paced by Stevie Thompson’s offensive efforts but could not close the gap in the fourth quarter. The teams will meet again in Oshkosh on Monday.
