SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (Interstat) — The Memphis Hustle defeated the Osceola Magic 132-121 in a G League game on Thursday night at DeSoto Civic Center. Memphis used a dominant 44-point second quarter to build a substantial lead and held off a late Osceola push.

The Hustle improved to 5-7, while the Magic fell to 8-4. Memphis forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper led a balanced attack with multiple key baskets down the stretch. Osceola guard Lester Quinones fueled his team’s attempt at a comeback with a prolific scoring performance.

The teams will meet again in Osceola on Sunday. The result defied a national statistical projection that heavily favored the Magic to win.
