Toulouse vs Nice
TOULOUSE, France (Interstat) — Toulouse will host Nice on Sunday in a Ligue 1 match at Stadium de Toulouse, with the home side looking to extend a recent dominance in the fixture.
The match, which opens the 2026-27 French top-flight season for both clubs, comes after Toulouse handily won both meetings last season. Toulouse routed Nice 5-1 at home last January before securing a 1-0 away victory last August.
Toulouse enters the opener following a narrow 3-2 road defeat to Lens on Friday. Their form has been mixed, with just two wins in their last eight matches across all competitions. However, they have shown offensive capability, including a 4-3 victory over Metz in mid-March.
Nice, meanwhile, is seeking a spark after a scoreless draw at Lille on Saturday extended its winless run in league play to five matches (0-2-3). The club has struggled to find consistency, suffering heavy losses to Rennes and Lyon in recent weeks and scoring just twice in its last five Ligue 1 outings.
Statistical models suggest a tight contest. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw, while its ELO rating system gives Toulouse a slight edge with a 54.6% probability to win.
For Nice, the schedule does not ease after this trip, with a visit to Marseille looming next Sunday. Toulouse’s league path continues with a visit from Lyon in early May.
Kickoff is set for Sunday afternoon in Toulouse.
