Baylor at Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. (Interstat) — The Arizona Wildcats, riding high after a key road victory, return home to face the Baylor Bears in a nonconference clash Saturday at Arizona Stadium.

Arizona (7-3) looks to continue its push for a standout season following a 30-24 win at Cincinnati last Saturday. Quarterback Noah Fifita has been efficient, completing 23 of 31 passes for 294 yards and a touchdown in the victory, while the running back duo of Kedrick Reescano and Quincy Craig combined for over 140 yards on the ground.

The Wildcats’ offense has shown explosiveness, highlighted by a 52-point outburst against Colorado earlier this month.

Baylor (5-5) arrives in Tucson seeking to become bowl-eligible and rebound from a decisive 55-28 home loss to Utah. In that game, quarterback Sawyer Robertson threw for 430 yards and three touchdowns, but the Bears’ defense struggled to contain the Utes’ attack.

The Bears have been inconsistent, alternating wins and losses over their last five games. Their season includes a narrow 35-34 win over Kansas State and a 48-45 double-overtime victory at SMU.

Despite Baylor’s .500 record, oddsmakers have installed the Bears as a 6.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 62.5. A projection from Interstat forecasts a 33-26 win for Arizona.

The game is a final tune-up for both teams before rivalry week, with Arizona traveling to face Arizona State on Friday, Nov. 28, and Baylor hosting Houston on Saturday, Nov. 29.
