UCLA at Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Interstat) — The Ohio State Buckeyes, riding a perfect season, will look to continue their dominant run when they host the struggling UCLA Bruins on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

Ohio State (9-0) is coming off a 34-10 road win over Purdue, where quarterback Julian Sayin threw for 303 yards and a touchdown. The Buckeyes’ defense has been formidable, posting shutouts against Wisconsin and Grambling and holding opponents to 10 points or fewer in seven of their nine games.

UCLA (3-6) arrives in Columbus after a 28-21 home loss to Nebraska, its fourth defeat in the last five games. Despite the team’s struggles, quarterback Nico Iamaleava has been a bright spot, accounting for two touchdowns and 277 total yards in the loss.

The Bruins have shown flashes of offensive potency, including a 42-37 win over Penn State in October, but have been plagued by inconsistency.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 34-19 victory for Ohio State. Despite the lopsided projection, UCLA has been installed as a +31.5-point underdog, with an over/under of 47.5.

The game serves as a final tune-up for the Buckeyes before their annual rivalry game at Michigan on Nov. 29. UCLA will return home to face Washington next Saturday.
