Utah Tech at Abilene Christian

ABILENE CHRISTIAN, Texas (Interstat) — The Abilene Christian Wildcats, riding a wave of momentum, will host the Utah Tech Trailblazers on Saturday at Wildcat Stadium in a non-conference matchup.

Abilene Christian (5-4) enters the contest fresh off a 31-28 victory over Tarleton State last Saturday. The Wildcats’ offense was potent on the ground, with running backs E.J. Wilson (105 yards) and Rovaughn Banks Jr. (83 yards, 2 TDs) leading the charge. Quarterback Stone Earle added 202 passing yards and accounted for two touchdowns.

Utah Tech (2-7) is looking to build on its first win since September, a 34-33 nail-biter against North Alabama. The Trailblazers’ offense found its rhythm, powered by running back Asa Chatman, who rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Bronson Barben threw for 272 yards and a score while adding 35 yards on the ground.

Despite Utah Tech’s recent success, the teams are on divergent paths this season. The Wildcats have won three of their last four games, while the Trailblazers have only two wins to their name.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring affair, favoring Abilene Christian 42-26.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, in Corpus Christi.
