BRONX, N.Y. (Interstat) — Christopher Dietrich passed for three touchdowns and the Bucknell Bisons built a large early lead to defeat the Fordham Rams 37-19 on Saturday at Jack Coffey Field. The Bisons improved to 5-5 while the Rams fell to 1-9.

Bucknell took control early, scoring 10 points in the first quarter and adding 14 more in the second for a 24-12 halftime lead. The Bisons’ defense contributed a touchdown on a blocked punt returned by Jack Goheen. Dietrich, a junior from Sparta, New Jersey, was efficient, completing 17 of 22 passes for 166 yards.

Gunnar Smith threw two touchdown passes for Fordham, but the Rams’ offense struggled with consistency. Sam Milligan caught two touchdown passes for the Bisons, including a 22-yard score in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
