Bucknell at Fordham
BRONX, N.Y. (Interstat) — Two Patriot League teams heading in opposite directions will meet Saturday when the Bucknell Bison visit the Fordham Rams at Jack Coffey Field.
Bucknell (4-5) looks to snap a three-game skid and get back to .500, while Fordham (1-8) seeks just its second win of the season. The Bison are coming off a 31-24 home loss to Georgetown on Oct. 25. Quarterback Christopher Dietrich passed for 222 yards and two touchdowns in the defeat, with running back Tariq Thomas adding 93 rushing yards.
The Rams enter on a six-game losing streak, most recently falling 17-14 at Richmond on Nov. 1. Fordham’s offense has struggled, with quarterback Gunnar Smith held to 91 passing yards and one touchdown in that contest.
Despite the records, a projection from Interstat’s game simulator favors the home team, predicting a 39-24 victory for Fordham. The Rams will look to capitalize on their home field as both teams continue their league schedules.
