Prairie View at Alabama A&M
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Interstat) — A high-scoring affair is projected when the Prairie View A&M Panthers visit the Alabama A&M Bulldogs on Saturday at Louis Crews Stadium.
Interstat’s game simulator forecasts a narrow 42-40 victory for the visiting Panthers. The game pits a potent Prairie View A&M offense against an Alabama A&M squad looking to rebound at home.
The Panthers (6-3) are aiming to bounce back from a narrow 31-28 loss to Alabama State last Saturday. In that defeat, quarterback Cameron Peters and running back Chase Bingmon powered the offense. Peters passed for 189 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 106 yards, and Bingmon added 118 rushing yards and a score.
Alabama A&M (4-5) is also coming off a close loss, falling 13-10 to Grambling. Bulldogs quarterback JD Davis II threw for 123 yards and a touchdown in the contest.
Prairie View A&M has won four of its last six games. Alabama A&M has struggled recently, losing three of its last four, including a 56-13 defeat to Alabama State on Oct. 25.
The Panthers’ remaining schedule includes home games against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Mississippi Valley State. The Bulldogs will host Florida A&M before traveling to Texas Southern to close the season.
