Kennesaw State at New Mexico State

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (Interstat) — A surging Kennesaw State team visits Aggie Memorial Stadium on Saturday to face a struggling New Mexico State squad in a non-conference matchup.

The Owls (6-2) enter on a five-game winning streak, most recently defeating UTEP 33-20 on Oct. 28. Their offense has been potent during the run, averaging over 33 points per game. Quarterbacks Amari Odom and Dexter Williams II have spearheaded a productive ground game.

The Aggies (3-5) have lost three of their last four, including a 35-16 loss at Western Kentucky on Nov. 1. Offensive consistency has been an issue, with quarterback Logan Fife completing just 13 of 39 passes in the last outing.

Despite the divergent records, New Mexico State has been installed as a 9.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 51.5.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring affair, favoring Kennesaw State 42-28.

Kennesaw State travels to Jacksonville State next Saturday. New Mexico State faces a tough road test at Tennessee.
