(Interstat) — Kennesaw State built a commanding 24-point first-half lead and then withstood a furious fourth-quarter rally by New Mexico State to escape Aggie Memorial Stadium with a 24-21 victory on Saturday. The Owls improved to 7-2 overall, while the Aggies fell to 3-6. Kennesaw State quarterback Amari Odom was the catalyst for the early explosion, connecting on two first-quarter touchdown passes to Gabriel Benyard.
