Fresno State at Boise State
BOISE, Idaho (Interstat) — A pivotal Mountain West clash is set for Saturday at Albertsons Stadium as the Boise State Broncos (6-2) host the Fresno State Bulldogs (5-3).
The Bulldogs enter the contest looking to rebound from a 23-0 shutout loss to San Diego State on Oct. 25, a game in which their offense managed just 182 total yards. Quarterback Carson Conklin completed 20 of 42 passes in the loss.
Boise State, meanwhile, is riding a three-game winning streak following a 24-3 road victory over Nevada on Oct. 24. The Broncos’ offense has been potent during this stretch, averaging over 40 points per game in conference wins over Nevada, UNLV and New Mexico. Quarterback Maddux Madsen has been a dual threat, accounting for a touchdown in the win over the Wolf Pack.
Despite the recent results, Fresno State has been installed as a 17.5-point underdog by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 50.5 points. A projection from Interstat forecasts a 42-29 victory for the home-standing Broncos.
The game could hinge on which version of each team appears. Fresno State has shown both high-scoring potential, as in a 56-point outburst against Southern, and concerning offensive struggles in recent blowout losses to San Diego State and Colorado State. Boise State has been dominant at home, but was handled easily in its two losses on the road against Power Five opponents Notre Dame and South Florida.
Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.
