Indiana at Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (Interstat) — The unbeaten Indiana Hoosiers, one of the nation’s biggest surprises, face a road test against the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday at SECU Stadium.

Indiana (8-0) is off to its best start in decades and is coming off a 56-6 rout of UCLA. The Hoosiers’ offense has been potent, led by quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who accounted for three touchdowns in the win. Running back Roman Hemby added two scores.

Despite their perfect record, the Hoosiers find themselves as significant underdogs. The Terrapins (4-3) are favored by 21.5 points, according to sportsbooks. The over/under is set at 50.5. A projection from Interstat simulates a 35-21 victory for Maryland.

The Terrapins are looking to rebound from a 20-17 loss at UCLA on Oct. 18. In that game, quarterback Malik Washington threw for 210 yards and a touchdown while adding 67 yards on the ground.

Maryland’s three losses this season have all been by narrow margins, falling to UCLA, Nebraska and Washington by a combined 13 points. Indiana’s resume includes road wins at Oregon and Iowa.

The game is scheduled for a 12 p.m. EST kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.
