South Florida at Memphis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Interstat) — A pivotal American Athletic Conference showdown is set for Saturday at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium as the undefeated Memphis Tigers host the surging South Florida Bulls.
Memphis (6-0) looks to rebound from its first loss of the season, a 31-24 setback at UAB last week that snapped its perfect start. The Tigers, who had been rolling with a potent offense, will aim to rediscover their rhythm against a tough South Florida defense.
South Florida (5-1) enters on a four-game winning streak, having outscored its opponents 216-90 during that span. The Bulls are coming off a dominant 48-13 victory over Florida Atlantic, fueled by a stellar performance from quarterback Byrum Brown, who passed for 256 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 111 yards and another score.
The matchup features two of the conference’s top offenses. Memphis, a 4.5-point favorite according to FanDuel Sportsbook, will rely on quarterback AJ Hill and running back Greg Desrosiers Jr. The Bulls counter with the dynamic Brown and a rushing attack that has proven difficult to contain.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a high-scoring affair, predicting a 36-30 victory for Memphis. The over/under is set at 63.5.
Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, in Memphis.
