Abilene Christian at West Georgia

CARROLLTON, Ga. (Interstat) — The West Georgia Wolves, looking to rebound from their first loss of the season, will host the surging Abilene Christian Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at University Stadium.

West Georgia (5-1) saw its five-game winning streak snapped last Saturday in a 44-30 road loss to Austin Peay. The Wolves’ offense, led by quarterback Davin Wydner, will look to rediscover its rhythm against an Abilene Christian defense that has been inconsistent this season.

The Wildcats (3-3) enter with momentum after a dominant 52-23 victory over North Alabama. Quarterback Stone Earle was exceptional in the win, throwing for 261 yards and four touchdowns while adding 29 yards on the ground. Running back Jordon Vaughn provided a explosive element, rushing for 84 yards on just four carries, including a touchdown.

Despite Abilene Christian’s recent offensive explosion, their season has been a tale of two teams. They are 3-0 at home but 0-3 on the road, where they have been outscored 115-35. West Georgia, meanwhile, is playing its first home game since Sept. 20.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, West Georgia is projected to win with a final score of 42-28. The game will be a test of Abilene Christian’s ability to carry its home success into a tough road environment against a Wolves team eager to get back on track.
