Campbell at Hampton
HAMPTON, Va. (Interstat) — Two teams seeking to build on rare positive offensive performances meet Saturday when Hampton hosts Campbell in a non-conference matchup at Armstrong Stadium.
The Pirates (2-4) are coming off a 41-34 victory over Norfolk State where quarterback Braden Davis accounted for two touchdowns, passing for 202 yards and rushing for 64 more. Running back Gracen Goldsmith added 75 rushing yards and a score.
Campbell (1-5) is looking to rebound from a 56-10 loss at North Carolina State. The Fightin’ Camels’ lone win was a 50-48 shootout against Bryant on Sept. 20, demonstrating their potential for offensive production. Quarterback Kamden Sixkiller threw for a touchdown in the loss to the Wolfpack.
Both defenses have struggled this season. Campbell has allowed an average of 43 points per game in its five losses, while Hampton has surrendered 30 or more points in four of its six contests.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, this contest projects as another high-scoring affair, with a predicted final score of Hampton 42, Campbell 35.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
