SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — Owen McCown passed for 236 yards and three touchdowns as Texas-San Antonio dominated Rice 61-13 on Saturday at Alamodome. The Roadrunners scored 21 points in the first quarter and never looked back, amassing 38 first-half points. McCown connected with AJ Wilson, Devin McCuin and DJ Allen Jr. for scores. Kendrick Blackshire returned an interception 17 yards for a touchdown for UTSA. The Roadrunners’ defense forced multiple turnovers and recorded a safety. Rice used three quarterbacks but was held to 13 points. Texas-San Antonio improves to 2-3, while Rice falls to 3-3.
