WEST POINT, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Charlotte 49ers, seeking to halt a three-game slide, visit the Army Black Knights on Saturday at Michie Stadium in a nonconference matchup.

Charlotte (1-4) is coming off a 54-26 road loss to South Florida last Friday. Quarterback Zach Wilcke accounted for two touchdowns in the defeat. The 49ers’ lone win this season was a 42-35 victory over Monmouth on Sept. 13.

Army (2-3) snapped a two-game skid with a 31-13 win at UAB last Saturday, powered by a three-touchdown performance from quarterback Cale Hellums. The Black Knights’ other win was a 24-21 road upset of Kansas State on Sept. 6.

Despite Charlotte’s record, the 49ers have been installed as a pregame favorite with a spread of +18.5. The over/under is 45.5. Interstat’s game simulator projects a final score of Army 42, Charlotte 26.

Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
