ALBANY, N.Y. (Interstat) — Tre Mariano drove in four runs, Michael Maggio tripled and singled in a run, and the Albany Great Danes routed the Le Moyne Dolphins 20-3 on Tuesday afternoon at Varsity Field.

Albany scored five runs in the third inning to open a 10-3 lead, then added nine in the sixth. Mariano doubled in three runs in the sixth, and Joe Perri and John Vitucci each had multiple hits. Zach Nalawadi earned the win on the mound.

Le Moyne grabbed a 3-2 lead in the second on Derek Diaz’s RBI single, but Albany answered with four in the bottom half and never trailed. The Great Danes finished with 15 hits, while the Dolphins had 10. Le Moyne fell to 18-24; Albany improved to 15-28.

Adam Sullivan scored twice for Le Moyne, and Chaz Anthony drove in two runs in the seventh. Colin Skermont took the loss.
