Austin defeated Houston 5-2 on Tuesday night at Jaycees Field, scoring three runs in the sixth inning to break a tie and send the Cougars to their fourth straight loss. The Lumberjacks improved to 23-21 overall. Houston fell to 18-25. Houston grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Broussard singled to left field, driving in two runs.
