HOUSTON (Interstat) — Houston scored three runs in the third inning to erase an early deficit and Blake Fields homered in the seventh to lift the Cougars to a 5-3 victory over Arizona State on Friday at M.O. Campbell Center. The Sun Devils fell to 35-18 overall and 17-11 in the Big 12. Houston improved to 24-30 and 11-17.
