HAMMOND, La. (Interstat) — Southeastern Louisiana capitalized on wild pitching and Alcorn State errors to roll to an 11-1 victory Wednesday at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field.

The Lions scored twice on wild pitches in the first inning before Alex Perry hit a solo home run, his 12th, in the second for a 3-0 lead. Alcorn State’s lone run came on a balk in the fourth. Southeastern Louisiana broke it open with a three-run fourth, highlighted by Justin Williams’ RBI double, and a five-run sixth fueled by two Braves errors. Williams finished with three RBIs.

Lions pitchers Austin Minichino, Dalton Gray and Nick Gisclair combined to allow just three hits. The Braves fell to 3-33, while Southeastern Louisiana improved to 24-17.
