DAYTON, Ohio (Interstat) — Michael Smith drove in three runs and Bobby Stang hit a two-run homer as the Dayton Flyers rallied to defeat the Wright State Raiders 9-5 on Wednesday at Woerner Field.

Dayton trailed 5-2 before a three-run fifth inning tied it. Smith’s go-ahead RBI double in the sixth gave the Flyers the lead for good. He added a two-run single in the eighth, and Stang followed with another RBI hit.

Smith finished 3 for 3. Stang was 2 for 3 with three RBIs. Cy Turner and JP Peltier homered for Wright State. Both teams had 10 hits.

The Flyers improved to 20-16. The Raiders fell to 17-16.
