(Interstat) — Gus Gandy’s two-run homer in the sixth inning broke open a tight game and a trio of Samford pitchers combined to stifle the Troy offense for eight innings as the Bulldogs defeated the Trojans 7-2 on Tuesday night at Riddle–Pace Field.
