LILLINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — Logan Chapman went 4 for 4 with a solo home run and scored four times as Campbell routed Duke 13-3 on Tuesday at Jim Perry Stadium.

The Fightin’ Camels (10-9) broke a 3-3 tie with a six-run fifth inning, fueled by a two-run homer from Joey Morton and aided by three wild pitches and a Duke error. Campbell sent 11 batters to the plate in the frame.

Chapman’s homer in the eighth capped his perfect day. Andrew Keller added a two-run double. Campbell pitchers Beau Brailey, Mason Smith and Roman DiGiacomo combined for 6 1/3 scoreless innings of relief.

Collin Anderson had a solo shot for the Blue Devils (15-8), who managed only five hits. The loss snapped Duke’s three-game winning streak.
