WILMINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — Joey Morton’s three-run home run in the sixth inning propelled top-seeded Campbell to a 5-3 victory over Hofstra on Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the CAA Baseball Championship at Brooks Field. The Fightin Camels, now 41-15, rallied from a 1-0 deficit behind Morton’s 21st homer of the season. The Pride, 22-27, had taken an early lead in the fourth inning on a run aided by a throwing error.
