HAMDEN, Conn. (Interstat) — Quinnipiac routed visiting Post 10-0 on Tuesday in a women’s NCAA Division I hockey game at TD Bank Sports Center. The Bobcats scored four goals in the first period, two in the second and four in the third. Avery Bairos led Quinnipiac with two goals and one assist, while Kahlen Lamarche added three assists and six shots. Aynsley D’Ottavio scored twice and recorded five shots, Makayla Watson had one goal, one assist, five shots and one hit, and Ella Johnson scored once. Annika Stock contributed two assists and five shots. Regan Berglund, Cassidy Lobisser and Keara Parker each scored once, and Ellie Gauvin added two shots. Quinnipiac improved to 5-0-0. Post fell to 1-4-0. Attendance at TD Bank Sports Center was 277. The Bobcats next host Northeastern on Oct. 16. The Eagles next host Long Island on Oct. 9.
