Dartmouth at Brown
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Interstat) — The Brown Bears will look to solidify their position in the ECAC standings when they host the Dartmouth Big Green in a women’s NCAA Division I hockey matchup Saturday at Meehan Auditorium.
Brown (15-12-0) enters the contest looking to rebound from back-to-back road losses last weekend at Quinnipiac and Princeton. The Bears sit in the middle of the conference table and are seeking consistency as the regular season winds down. Dartmouth (5-22-3) is aiming to build on a rare offensive outburst, having snapped a seven-game winless streak with a 5-3 victory at RPI on Feb. 14.
The head-to-head series this season has been defined by defense. The teams skated to a 0-0 tie in Hanover on Jan. 10, with Brown goalie Rory Edwards making 24 saves for the shutout. In their first meeting on Nov. 14, the Bears earned a 4-0 home win over the Big Green.
A key matchup will feature two of the conference’s top offensive talents. Brown is led by dynamic center Jade Iginla, who has been on a tear with six goals and five assists in her last six games. She recorded a four-point afternoon (2 goals, 2 assists) in a win over Clarkson on Feb. 7.
For Dartmouth, center Ella Inglis is the focal point. She factored in on three of her team’s five goals in the win over RPI, notching a goal and two assists. She has two goals in her last five games for a Big Green squad that has been shut out in nine of its 22 losses.
Beyond Iginla, Brown’s offense looks to India McDadi, who scored in the loss to Princeton. Edwards is expected to start in net; she made 39 saves in that narrow defeat. Dartmouth will need secondary scoring from players like Cally Dixon and Sophia Chard, who scored against RPI, to support Inglis.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 3-1 victory for the Bears. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026.
