PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Interstat) — The Brown Bears scored twice in the first period and pulled away late for a decisive 7-2 victory over the Dartmouth Big Green in a women’s NCAA Division I hockey game Saturday afternoon at Meehan Auditorium. A crowd of 473 watched the Bears improve to 16-12, solidifying their position for the upcoming ECAC Hockey tournament. The Big Green, meanwhile, saw their difficult season continue, falling to 5-23-3.
