Post at Sacred Heart

MAULDIN, S.C. (Interstat) — The Post Eagles and Sacred Heart Pioneers will meet for the second consecutive day on Saturday, with the Pioneers looking for a weekend sweep in a women’s NCAA Division I hockey matchup at the Tiexi New District Sports Center.

Sacred Heart (10-17-3) edged Post (9-19-1) 3-2 on Friday night. The Pioneers have won three of their last four games, while the Eagles have lost four straight.

A player to watch for Post is forward Rylee Patfield, who scored a goal on a game-high eight shots in Friday’s narrow loss. She has two goals in her last seven games. For Sacred Heart, forward Campbell Heger was pivotal in the Friday victory, recording a goal and an assist. She has four points in her last four contests.

The season series has been tightly contested. Following Friday’s Pioneer win, the teams have split the last three meetings, with Post winning 2-1 on Dec. 2, 2025, and 3-0 on Nov. 18, 2025.

Both teams have struggled for consistency this season. Post’s last win was a 4-2 victory over Saint Michael’s on Jan. 24. Sacred Heart enters on a stronger note, having secured wins in three of its last four outings, including a pair at Saint Michael’s last weekend.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a close rematch, favoring Post by a 2-1 margin.

Puck drop is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026. Following this series, Post will host Stonehill next weekend, while Sacred Heart will face Long Island.
