Merrimack at Lindenwood

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (Interstat) — The Lindenwood Lions will look to build on their best offensive performance of the young season when they host the Merrimack Warriors in a women’s NCAA Division I hockey matchup on Saturday at Centene Community Ice Center.

The Lions (1-5-1) erupted for a 6-3 victory over these same Warriors (1-3-1) on Friday afternoon, securing their first win of the season. Lindenwood had managed just five total goals in its first six games before the breakout performance.

Merrimack, meanwhile, will seek a split of the two-game series and aim to tighten its defensive play after surrendering six goals. The Warriors’ only win this season came on Sept. 27, a 5-3 victory over Clarkson.

Both teams have struggled to find consistency. Lindenwood’s victory Friday snapped a five-game winless streak, while Merrimack is 0-2-1 in its last three contests since the win over Clarkson.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the rematch is projected to be a lower-scoring affair, with a predicted final score of Lindenwood 2, Merrimack 1.

Puck drop is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
